Role Description The Chartered Accountant will manage the financial accounting, reporting, and compliance activities for the CBG plant and related operations. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining accurate books of accounts, preparing financial statements, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring timely statutory filings and tax compliance in accordance with Indian regulations.
The role will also involve cost accounting for plant operations, monitoring cash flow, supporting audits, and advising management on financial planning and risk mitigation.
The Chartered
Accountant will collaborate with operations and procurement teams to ensure proper financial controls and documentation. This is a full-time,
on-site role based in India at or near the Hyderabad, Telangana, India. facility.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification from a recognized professional body, with strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and tax laws.
- Proficiency in financial accounting and reporting, including preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting, preferably in manufacturing, energy, or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with statutory compliance, direct and indirect taxation, GST, and coordination with auditors and regulatory authorities.
- Ability to work with accounting and ERP software, spreadsheets, and financial analysis tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to interpret data for decision-making.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders on-site.
- Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and commitment to ethical financial practices and internal controls.
- Experience in renewable energy, waste management, or industrial operations is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field; relevant professional experience in India is highly beneficial.
