Job Title: Assistant Manager - Taxation (Direct Tax)

Location: Andheri, Mumbai

Experience: 4-5 Years

Qualification: CA/Inter CA

Duties/Responsibilities:





· Determine the applicability of TDS/TCS on domestic payments and ensure accurate calculation and deduction/collection.

· Evaluate the applicability of TDS on overseas remittances and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations.

· Ensure timely payment of TDS/TCS to the Government.

· Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual TDS/TCS returns within statutory deadlines.

· Calculate Advance Tax liabilities for Individuals, Partnership Firms, and Companies.

· Prepare and file Income Tax Returns (ITRs) accurately and within due dates.

· Provide guidance to internal teams on TDS/TCS provisions and keep them updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.

· Coordinate with auditors to ensure timely completion of Tax Audits.

· Prepare and maintain documentation required for Income Tax Assessments and Appeals.

· Possess a valuable understanding of accounting principles and financial records to support tax compliance and reporting.
