Role Description The CCTV & IP Surveillance Engineer role at CTL Infocom Pvt Ltd is a full time, on-site position based in Kochi. The engineer will design, install, configure, and maintain CCTV and IP surveillance systems, including cameras, network video recorders, storage solutions, and related ELV infrastructure.

Daily responsibilities include performing site surveys, preparing technical layouts, cabling, device mounting, system integration, and troubleshooting hardware and network issues. The role involves monitoring system performance, conducting preventive and corrective maintenance, documenting configurations, and providing technical support to clients and internal teams.



The engineer will collaborate with project managers and service teams to ensure timely deployment, compliance with security and quality standards, and reliable system uptime for customers.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills to diagnose issues, optimize system performance, and interpret technical data.
- Hands-on expertise in surveillance systems, including CCTV, IP cameras, NVR/DVR configurations, and ELV system integration.
- Solid foundation in systems engineering principles, covering networking basics, hardware integration, and system architecture.
- Ability to work with specialized tools or software (e.g., MATLAB or similar platforms) for analysis, simulation, or performance testing, where applicable.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related engineering field.
- Experience with IP networking (TCP/IP, switches, routers, VLANs), structured cabling, and basic cybersecurity practices for surveillance systems.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for security and surveillance installations; prior experience in IBMS or ELV projects is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site, including field visits, with strong attention to safety, quality, and documentation.
- Effective communication skills, willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and customer-focused problem-solving approach.
