Role Description The CCTV and Structured Cabling Technician is an on-site role based in Gandhidham. This role is responsible for installing, terminating, and testing structured cabling systems for data, voice, and video, including copper and fiber optic cables.

The technician will install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, cameras, network video recorders (NVRs), and related security infrastructure, ensuring proper coverage and functionality. Day-to-day activities include reading and interpreting layout drawings, routing cables, mounting equipment, performing troubleshooting,



and conducting routine maintenance and system health checks. The role also involves coordinating with project managers and clients, maintaining documentation of installations, and adhering to safety, quality, and compliance standards at all times.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in CCTV installation, configuration, and maintenance, including cameras, NVR/DVR systems, and basic IP networking.
- Candidates should possess skills in structured cabling, such as copper and fiber optic cable installation, termination, labeling, and testing using appropriate tools.
- Candidates should possess skills in reading technical drawings and site plans, performing diagnostics, and troubleshooting cabling and CCTV-related issues.
- Candidates should possess awareness of electrical safety practices, use of hand and power tools, and adherence to workplace safety and quality standards.
- Candidates should possess clear communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with project teams, vendors, and clients in office.
- Relevant technical certification or diploma in electronics, telecommunications, or IT networking is beneficial.
- Prior experience in CCTV, structured cabling, or low-voltage systems in enterprise or commercial environments is an advantage.
