Overall Purpose of the Job The Procurement Expeditor will be responsible for tracking and expediting the flow of materials and supplies from suppliers to meet production/project schedules and business requirements. The role involves close coordination with suppliers, internal departments, and logistics teams to prevent delays, resolve issues, and ensure materials arrive as planned.

Role & responsibilities

Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.

Communicate regularly with suppliers to expedite orders, confirm shipment details, and resolve delivery issues.

Update internal teams and stakeholders on delivery schedules, delays, or disruptions.

Work closely with the procurement and supply chain teams to align delivery schedules with production/project needs.

Identify potential delays in the supply chain and take proactive steps to mitigate risks.

Maintain accurate records of supplier performance and delivery timelines in SAP

Collaborate with the logistics team to track shipments and resolve transportation issues.





Coordinate the return of defective or incorrect materials to suppliers.

Assist in maintaining and updating procurement databases, including supplier information and order tracking.

Support the procurement department with additional tasks, such as issuing purchase orders, processing invoices, and reviewing contracts.

Preferred candidate profile

High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelors degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.

5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics.

Robust organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills. English is a must

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Proficiency in using procurement software (SAP) and Microsoft Office applications.

Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly.
