Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled UWP / WPF Developer with 35 years of experience in Windows desktop application development. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in WPF, UWP, XAML, MVVM, and C# .NET, with a passion for building rich, scalable, and high-performance desktop applications. You will be responsible for designing modern desktop interfaces, implementing robust application architecture, and developing enterprise-grade Windows applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain Windows desktop applications using WPF, UWP, C#, and .NET.
- Build modern, responsive, and reusable user interfaces using XAML.
- Implement and maintain applications using the MVVM architecture.
- Develop custom controls, styles, templates, converters, and resource dictionaries.
- Work extensively with data binding, commands, dependency properties, and event handling.
- Optimize application performance, responsiveness, startup time, and memory usage.
- Design and integrate backend services using REST APIs and background services.
- Develop and maintain database components using Entity Framework and SQL Server.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues while ensuring high code quality.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and technical documentation.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality desktop applications.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in UWP and WPF
- Excellent knowledge of XAML and MVVM Architecture
- Solid proficiency in C# and .NET Framework / .NET Core / .NET 6+
- Experience developing Windows desktop applications
- Strong understanding of Data Binding, Commands, Dependency Properties, Custom Controls, Styles, Templates, and Resource Dictionaries
- Experience with Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, and Query Optimization
- Good understanding of Async/Await, Task Parallel Library (TPL), and Multithreading
- Experience with Git, GitHub, or Azure DevOps
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID Principles, and Design Patterns

Preferred Skills

- Experience with WinUI 3, .NET MAUI, or Avalonia UI
- Experience with UI component libraries such as Syncfusion, DevExpress, Telerik, or Infragistics
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for desktop applications
- Experience with NUnit, xUnit, or Moq
- Exposure to Windows Services and desktop application deployment
- Familiarity with performance profiling and memory optimization techniques

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 35 years of hands-on experience in developing Windows desktop applications using UWP / WPF.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
