Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Buyer – Hard Goods to manage product sourcing, vendor relationships, and procurement activities. The ideal candidate should have experience in purchasing hard goods such as home décor, kitchenware, storage, stationery,

gifting, household products, and general merchandise. The candidate should possess strong negotiation skills, market awareness, and the ability to deliver quality products at competitive

Prices.

Key Responsibilities

· Source and develop new vendors for hard goods categories.

· Identify trending products through market research and competitor analysis.

· Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.

· Manage the complete buying cycle from product selection to purchase order

· Execution.

· Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely production and delivery.

· Monitor inventory levels and plan replenishment to avoid stock shortages.

· Work closely with the Merchandising, Planning, Quality, Warehouse,



and E

· commerce teams.

· Analyse sales performance and recommend new product additions or

· discontinuations.

· Ensure product quality and compliance with company standards.

· Track supplier performance and maintain long-term vendor relationships.

· Prepare cost sheets, purchase reports, and buying analysis.

Required Skills

· Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

· Excellent analytical and commercial understanding.

· Knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes.

· Ability to identify market trends and consumer preferences.

· Strong communication and coordination skills.

· Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Lookup Functions,

· Basic MIS).

Experience

· 5–8 years of experience in Buying or Procurement of Hard Goods.

· Experience in Retail, Import/Export, Modern Trade, or E-commerce industries will be

· preferred.
