Swish

Bengaluru

Swish is building the next generation of food delivery by owning the entire value chain, from menu design and pricing to kitchen operations, delivery, and customer experience.

We’re building a high-growth company where the pace is fast, the problems are constantly evolving, and the quality of execution matters.

The Role

We're looking for a Business Finance Manager to own Swish's Revenue charter.

You'll sit at the intersection of Finance, Product, Marketing, Operations, and Data, and be responsible for understanding what drives our revenue, customer economics, and profitability. You'll work directly with founders and leadership, use SQL and financial models to investigate business problems, and turn data into decisions around pricing, promotions, customer behaviour, unit economics, and growth. What You'll Own 1. Revenue & Business Analytics

Own Swish's revenue pulse across daily, weekly, and monthly business performance.

Track and understand key metrics including GMV, NMV, AOV, orders, active users, frequency, retention, and contribution margin.

Build dashboards and reporting frameworks to give leadership a clear view of performance across stores, cities, customer cohorts, and food categories.

Investigate changes in business performance and identify the underlying drivers.

Analyse customer cohorts, repeat behaviour, and unit economics to understand what drives long-term growth and profitability.

Identify revenue leakages and opportunities before they become problems. 2.

Financial

Analysis & Business Partnering

Work closely with teams across Swish to evaluate decisions that directly impact growth and profitability.

Partner with Marketing to measure campaign effectiveness and customer acquisition economics.

Work with Product to evaluate pricing changes, discounts, rewards, and promotional experiments.

Partner with Operations to understand profitability at the store and category level.

Build financial models and business cases for initiatives such as new city launches, current food categories, and new operating models.

Evaluate pricing and promotional experiments and translate findings into clear recommendations.

Support fundraising, board reporting, competitive benchmarking, and market analysis.

- Data, Automation & Strategic Projects

Use data and technology to make finance and business analysis faster and more scalable.

Write complex SQL queries to investigate large datasets and uncover insights.

Automate recurring reports and analysis, reducing manual work and creating more time for higher-value problem solving.

Build scalable KPI tracking and reporting frameworks as the business grows.

Work with Data Engineering to improve data quality, infrastructure, and accessibility.

Take on high-priority strategic projects directly with founders and the leadership team.

What We're Looking For 2–4 years of experience in Business Finance, FP&A;, Strategy, Consulting, Analytics, or a similar analytical role.

Experience in startups, consumer internet, quick commerce, food delivery, or e-commerce is strongly preferred.

Strong SQL skills — mandatory.

Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and strong financial modelling capabilities.

Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Metabase, Tableau, or Power BI.

Strong understanding of unit economics, contribution margins, and profitability drivers.

Ability to work with large, messy datasets and turn them into clear, actionable business insights.

Solid ownership and bias for action — you don't wait to be told what to analyse next.

Structured thinker with strong attention to detail and the ability to operate comfortably in an ambiguous environment.

Able to communicate complex analysis simply and influence stakeholders outside of Finance.

What Success Looks Like

Become the go-to person for understanding Swish's revenue and business economics.

Build reliable, scalable systems for tracking our most important business metrics.

Identify the drivers behind changes in revenue, customer behaviour, and profitability — and explain what we should do about them.

Influence decisions around pricing, promotions, customer growth, and expansion through rigorous analysis.

Reduce manual reporting through automation and create more time for strategic problem-solving.
