Manager – Business Finance Max Budget: 20 LPA* (Apply only if you are okay with the budget, Subject to market standard hike percentage from Current CTC)

We are looking for a commercially minded Business Finance professional to act as a trusted finance partner to our business units. This role is central to driving financial performance, enabling data-driven decisions, and supporting sustainable growth and profitability across the organization. Key Responsibilities
Business Partnering: Serve as the primary finance point of contact for business unit leaders, providing commercial insight and proactive financial guidance to support strategic decisions.
Performance Management: Own the end-to-end tracking of revenue, costs, margins, and key business metrics; deliver timely and actionable reporting to stakeholders.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts in close collaboration with business teams, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
Commercial Analysis: Evaluate business initiatives, pricing decisions, new market opportunities, and investment cases through rigorous financial analysis and scenario modelling.
Financial Modelling: Build and maintain robust financial models to support business cases, growth strategies, and operational planning.
Variance & Root Cause Analysis: Analyse actual vs. budget/forecast performance, identify key drivers of variance, and work with teams to course-correct where needed.
Management Reporting: Design and deliver MIS reports, dashboards, and executive-level presentations that translate financial data into transparent business narratives.
Cost & Profitability Management:
Identify cost optimisation opportunities, track unit economics, and support margin improvement initiatives.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Operations, Product, and Supply Chain teams to embed financial rigour into business planning and execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA / CA / CFA preferred)
3–6 years of experience in Business Finance, Commercial Finance, or a finance business partnering role
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into business insights
Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and management reporting
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills;
experience with Power BI or similar BI tools is a plus
Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle Financials, or similar platforms
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach
Robust communication and stakeholder management skills — able to influence at all levels Preferred Experience
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth, or startup environment
Background in industries with complex unit economics (e.g. SaaS, e-commerce, fintech, consumer)
Exposure to strategic planning, investor reporting, or M&A; support
