Business Hunter — FiniGenie (Kolkata / Remote-first, UAE–India)

We're hiring a Business Hunter. Not an SDR who sends 100 cold emails a day. A hunter who gets SMEs to say "yes, show me my own numbers."

About us

FiniGenie is an AI-native finance-operations platform for SMEs across the UAE–India corridor. Small businesses run their money across a dozen places — invoices in one app, bank statements in another, supplier payments over UPI, cards and bank, reconciliation in Excel at midnight.

We pull all of it into one intelligent dashboard: voice-based cash logging, automatic statement reconciliation, payment collection links, supplier payouts, utility and FASTag payments — and, as trade data builds, faster access to working capital.

The product is live, self-serve, and free to start. Your job is to put it in front of the businesses that need it and get them using it.

What you'll actually do

- Hunt: build your own pipeline of SME traders, distributors, fleet operators and manufacturers — the businesses that deliver first and wait 30–120 days to get paid.
- Open on pain, not product: talk payables, receivables and month-end reconciliation in the owner's language. If you can't explain a receivables problem to a trader in 30 seconds, this role isn't for you yet.
- Convert conversations into activated registrations — the prospect signs up and runs their own statement or cash-log through FiniGenie. The product does the demo; you create the moment.
- Close subscriptions and payment-wedge deals (collections, supplier payments, bills/FASTag at volume).
- Own your numbers end-to-end: pipeline, conversion, revenue — reviewed weekly, no hiding, no vanity metrics.
- Feed the market back into the product:



you'll sit close to the founder and your input will shape what we build next.

Who we're looking for
- 2–6 years selling to SMEs/MSMEs — fintech, payments, lending, SaaS, or anything where you sold to business owners, not procurement departments.
- You understand how a small business's money actually moves — AR, AP, credit periods, GST — or you can learn it in a week because you're genuinely curious about it.
- You've sold without a big brand behind you. No marketing team, no inbound leads, no polished collateral — and you found that energising, not terrifying.
- Proactive to a fault: you don't wait for leads, you create them. You don't need the founder in the room to move a deal.
- Honest seller: you'd rather lose a deal than overpromise. Our early customers need trust, not hype.
- Bonus: Bengali/Hindi + English; exposure to UAE market; you've been an early sales hire before.
