Role Summary

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager – Renewable Energy to drive business growth across the renewable energy sector. The incumbent will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic client relationships, and promoting MITCON's consultancy and engineering services related to solar, wind, bioenergy, green hydrogen, energy efficiency, sustainability, and other clean energy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop recent business opportunities in the Renewable Energy sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with project developers, EPC contractors, industries, government agencies, DISCOMs, PSUs, financial institutions, and corporate clients.
- Conduct regular client meetings and business visits across Karnataka and other regions as required.
- Promote MITCON's consultancy and engineering services, including:
- Solar Power Projects (Ground Mounted, Rooftop & Floating Solar)
- Wind Energy Projects
- Bioenergy, Biomass, Biogas & Waste-to-Energy Projects
- Green Hydrogen & Green Ammonia Projects
- Energy Audits & Energy Efficiency Consulting
- ESG & Sustainability Advisory Services
- Carbon Footprint Assessment & Carbon Accounting
- Carbon Credit & Climate Change Advisory
- Detailed Project Reports (DPR)
- Project Management Consultancy (PMC)
- Owner's Engineer & Independent Engineer Services
- Resource Assessment & Due Diligence




- Environmental & Statutory Compliance Consultancy
- Generate qualified leads through market mapping, networking, industry events, and client engagement.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals in coordination with internal technical teams.
- Manage the complete business development cycle from lead generation to proposal submission, negotiation, work order closure, and client relationship management.
- Monitor market trends, government policies, renewable energy schemes, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and submit Daily Visit Reports (DVR), weekly updates, monthly MIS, and business forecasts.
- Represent MITCON at conferences, exhibitions, investor meets, and renewable energy forums.

Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Commerce, or Management.
- MBA in Marketing, Business Management, or Energy Management is preferred.
- 3–8 years of experience in Business Development, Renewable Energy, Consultancy, EPC, Energy Services, Infrastructure, or Sustainability sectors.
- Experience in dealing with industries, renewable energy developers, government departments, DISCOMs, financial institutions, or corporate clients will be preferred.
