Role Description This is an internship role for a Business Development Manager based on-site in Bhubaneswar. The intern will support lead generation activities, build and maintain relationships with students, professionals, and institutional partners, and assist in promoting Protrainy’s training programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, conducting outreach through calls, emails, and meetings, and gathering feedback from prospective learners and partners.





The role also involves coordinating with the marketing and academic teams to align business strategies with course offerings, tracking performance metrics, and preparing basic reports on business development activities. The internship offers exposure to the edtech and civil engineering training space, with opportunities to learn sales, marketing, and partnership development.

Qualifications

Strong interest in business development, sales, or marketing within the education or training sector.

Ability to conduct outreach, communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders, and build professional relationships.

Comfort with using digital tools and platforms for communication, data tracking, and basic reporting.

Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up on leads consistently.

High level of initiative, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback in a fast-growing startup workplace.

Pursuing or completed a degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages in Odisha is an advantage.

Prior internship or project experience in sales, marketing, or customer engagement is beneficial but not mandatory.
