Job Summary The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth for the company's biofuel products. The role involves developing relationships with government agencies, oil marketing companies (OMCs), industrial fuel consumers, transport companies, and feedstock suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
Identify and develop current customers for biodiesel, biofuels, crude glycerine, and related products.
Generate leads and convert prospects into long-term customers.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Build relationships with industrial customers, fleet operators, logistics companies, and fuel distributors.
Track market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
Strategic Partnerships
Establish partnerships with feedstock suppliers, aggregators, and collection networks.
Coordinate with government agencies, industry associations, and regulatory bodies.
Develop channel partner and distributor networks.
Tender & Contract Management
Identify and participate in public and private tenders.
Prepare commercial proposals and negotiate contracts.
Manage customer agreements and ensure timely renewals.
Market Expansion
Explore new markets and customer segments.
Conduct market research and feasibility studies.
Develop go-to-market strategies for new products and regions.
Customer Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
Address customer concerns and coordinate with operations teams for resolution.
Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Commerce, or related field.
MBA in Marketing, Sales, Operations, or General Management preferred.
Experience
4–10 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Key Account Management, or Strategic Partnerships.

Junior BDM (3–5 years): ₹6–10 LPA
