Job Title: Blaze Rule Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Blaze Rule Developer with robust Java development skills to design, develop, and support business rule solutions using the Blaze Advisor rule engine. The ideal candidate should have experience in rule authoring, decision automation, Java application development, and integration of business rules with enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain business rules using Blaze Advisor.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into rule logic.
- Develop and maintain Java-based applications and services.
- Integrate Blaze rule services with enterprise applications.
- Perform rule testing, debugging, and optimization to ensure high performance.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and development teams.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide application support.
- Create technical documentation and knowledge-sharing materials.

Required Skills

Blaze Advisor





- Hands-on experience with Blaze Advisor Business Rules Management System (BRMS).
- Expertise in rule modeling, rule authoring, decision tables, and deployment.
- Experience with rule testing and performance tuning.

Java

- Strong experience in Java 8/11/17.
- Good understanding of Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.
- Experience with Object-Oriented Design and Design Patterns.
- Knowledge of Maven/Gradle build tools.

Database

- SQL expertise with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Experience in query optimization and database design.

Additional Technologies

- Git, Jenkins, CI/CD.
- SOAP/REST Web Services.
- Linux/Unix environment.
- Agile/Scrum methodology.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or Healthcare domains.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

- Drools or other BRMS tools.
- Kafka or messaging technologies.
- Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of cloud-native application development.
