Role Description The BIM Designer at NestUp Space will create and manage detailed 3D models and technical drawings for modular interior furniture, ensuring accuracy in dimensions, materials, and installation details. This full-time, on-site role in Hyderabad involves collaborating with interior designers, engineers, and production teams to translate design concepts into manufacturable and installable solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing BIM models, coordinating architectural and furniture drawings, updating models based on design revisions,



and preparing documentation for fabrication and on-site installation.

The BIM Designer will also support quality control by reviewing drawings for compliance with specifications and assisting in resolving design and installation issues. The role requires close involvement in project workflows to align design, production, and assembly within tight delivery timelines.

Qualifications Ability to work with architectural drawings and interpret technical specifications for interior and furniture projects.

Practical understanding of carpentry and furniture construction methods to support accurate BIM modeling.

Knowledge of paint and painting techniques, including spray painting, for finishing and detailing of furniture surfaces.

Proficiency in BIM and CAD software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp or similar) for 3D modeling and drafting.

Strong attention to detail, precision in measurements, and ability to minimize errors in models and drawings.

Effective collaboration skills to work with designers, production staff, and installation teams on-site.

Basic understanding of modular furniture systems and interior fit-out processes.

Diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.

Relevant experience in BIM design, furniture design, or interior projects is an advantage.
