Role Description The BDM for Field Mechanical Engineer role is a full time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities related to mechanical engineering services and solutions, building and maintaining relationships with industrial clients, and supporting the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.

The BDM will collaborate with engineering teams to understand technical requirements, prepare proposals, and present solutions that align with client needs and industry standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include visiting client sites, conducting needs assessments, coordinating with internal stakeholders, tracking business development metrics, and preparing regular reports and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

- Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, client relationship management, and negotiation.




- Mechanical engineering knowledge sufficient to understand client technical requirements, project scopes, and industry standards.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear business terms.
- Proven organizing, planning, and time management skills for field-based, on-site client engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related field; a combination of technical and commercial experience is highly valued.
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or engineering services sectors is an advantage.
- Comfort working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapting to evolving client and market needs.
