Role Description The Business Development Manager (BDM) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Jaipur. The BDM will identify and pursue new business opportunities in architectural and façade lighting, focusing on developers, architects, interior designers, hospitality brands, and high-end residential clients.

Daily responsibilities include prospecting and lead generation, conducting client meetings and presentations, preparing proposals and quotations, and managing negotiations to close projects. The role involves coordinating closely with design and engineering teams to align client requirements with technical solutions, maintaining accurate sales pipelines and reports,



and building long-term relationships through regular follow-ups and account management. The BDM will also monitor market trends, competitor activities, and participate in industry events to strengthen brand visibility and drive revenue growth.

Qualifications

- Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing deals.
- Experience in client relationship management, with the ability to communicate effectively with architects, designers, and developers.
- Understanding of architectural, interior, or lighting solutions, with the ability to interpret project requirements and propose suitable offerings.
- Proficiency in presentation and negotiation, including preparing proposals, quotations, and project documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Jaipur, travel to client locations as needed, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in lighting, construction, or design industries is preferred.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills and comfort using CRM and productivity tools.
