Job Summary

Business Development Manager Cyber Security (Australian Market) Location: Anywhere in India (Work From Home)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Working Hours: Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST/AEDT)

Reporting To: Director Business Development (Melbourne, Australia)

Role Overview

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing and closing current business opportunities for Cyber Security services with organisations across Australia. You will proactively engage CIOs, CISOs, IT Managers, Infrastructure Managers, Risk Compliance leaders and business executives to understand their cyber security challenges and recommend suitable solutions. Working closely with our Cyber Security Consultants and Solution Architects, you will manage the complete sales lifecycle from lead generation through to contract execution. This is a remote Work From Home role based anywhere in India, supporting Australian customers during AEST/AEDT business hours.

Key Responsibilities

- Business Development
- Generate new business opportunities within the Australian market.
- Develop and execute outbound sales strategies through LinkedIn, email campaigns, cold calling, networking and referrals.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities using CRM tools.
- Identify and engage key decision-makers including CIOs, CISOs, IT Managers, Heads of Infrastructure and Risk Compliance Managers.
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand customer environments, business objectives and cyber security challenges.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.

- Solution Selling

- Promote M2S Cyber Security services including:
- Web Application Penetration Testing
- Network Penetration Testing
- Cloud Security Assessments




- API Security Testing
- Mobile Application Penetration Testing
- Vulnerability Assessments
- Red Team Exercises
- Security Architecture Reviews
- Microsoft Security Solutions
- Managed Detection Response (MDR)
- Security Operations Centre (SOC)
- Identity Access Management (IAM)
- Endpoint Detection Response (EDR)
- Governance, Risk Compliance (GRC)
- ISO 27001 Readiness
- ASD Essential Eight Assessments
- Incident Response and Security Awareness Training

- Client Relationship Management

- Build long-term relationships with customers and strategic partners.
- Identify opportunities for repeat penetration testing, managed services and additional cyber security engagements.
- Maintain regular communication with existing customers to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
- Represent M2S professionally during customer meetings, webinars and industry events.

- Proposal Bid Management

- Prepare proposals, capability statements, Statements of Work (SOWs) and commercial quotations.
- Work closely with Cyber Security Consultants to define engagement scope, effort estimates and pricing.
- Respond to RFPs, RFQs and tender submissions.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close business opportunities.

- Collaboration

- Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure smooth project handovers.
- Work with Marketing to develop targeted campaigns and lead-generation initiatives.




- Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to support service development.

Required Skills Experience

- 38 years of experience in Business Development, IT Sales or Account Management.
- Minimum 2 years of experience selling Cyber Security services, Managed IT Services or IT Consulting.
- Proven experience in outbound B2B sales and new business acquisition.
- Experience selling to Australian organisations is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of consultative and solution-based selling.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve sales targets.
- Experience managing the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to contract closure.

Technical Knowledge

A good understanding of the following concepts is highly desirable:
- Penetration Testing
- API Security
- Cloud Security
- ISO 27001

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Experience working with Australian clients or Australian IT service providers.
- Existing network of CIOs, CISOs, IT Managers or technology decision-makers in Australia is an advantage.
- Experience working with offshore delivery teams.
