The Role

We’re looking for a skilled Barista who treats coffee as a craft—not a routine. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional beverages, maintaining impeccable standards, and creating memorable guest experiences every single day.

Responsibilities

- Execute every beverage to recipe with consistency and precision.
- Dial in espresso, calibrate grinders, and maintain extraction quality throughout service.
- Steam milk to professional standards and produce clean, consistent latte art.
- Prepare espresso, filter coffee, teas, cold beverages, and seasonal specials.
- Maintain speed during peak hours without sacrificing quality.
- Keep the coffee station spotless, organized, and service-ready at all times.
- Monitor inventory, minimise waste, and communicate stock requirements proactively.
- Perform daily cleaning and preventative maintenance of espresso equipment and grinders.
- Deliver warm,



attentive, and professional hospitality to every guest.
- Uphold Sabali’s standards in cleanliness, presentation, teamwork, and discipline.

Requirements

- Experience in a specialty coffee environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and workflow.
- Confident under pressure with excellent time management.
- High attention to detail and commitment to consistency.
- Professional attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn.
- Reliable, punctual, and accountable.

Bonus Skills

- Latte art proficiency.
- Manual brewing (V60, AeroPress, Chemex, French Press).
- Basic coffee roasting or green coffee knowledge.
- Experience with café POS systems and inventory control.
