Role Description The Bakery Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram.

The Bakery

Assistant supports daily production by preparing ingredients, assisting with baking tasks, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities include helping with cake decorating, packaging products, restocking displays, and ensuring items meet quality and presentation standards. The role also involves interacting with customers, taking orders, answering product questions, and providing courteous service at the counter.

Assistant works closely with bakers and decorators, following food safety and hygiene procedures and supporting smooth kitchen operations.

Qualifications

- Foundational skills in Bakery and Baking, with the ability to follow recipes and production schedules
- Ability to assist with Cake Decorating and creative presentation of baked goods
- Experience or comfort with Customer Service, including handling orders and communicating with guests
- Skills in Food Preparation, including measuring, mixing, and handling ingredients safely
- Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards in a kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting
- Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and peak holiday periods as needed
- Prior experience in a bakery, café, or food service environment is an advantage but not mandatory
