Discovering games and connecting with players is Looking for:**** Backend Python Developer The Opportunity: We are hiring a Backend Python Developer to join PY''s engineering team. You will build, scale, and maintain Python services, REST APIs, and data models.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Build scalable, secure, and maintainable backend applications using Python and Django.
- Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs for mobile, web, and internal use cases.
- Own backend features end to end: technical design, implementation, testing, deployment support,

and documentation.
- Improve existing systems for performance, reliability, data consistency, and maintainability.

Requirements:

- 2 years of relevant backend engineering experience, with strong hands-on experience in Python and

Django.
- Proven experience building production-grade REST APIs Django REST framework experience is

preferred.




- Strong understanding of databases - MySQL & MongoDB, including schema design, indexing,

transactions, and query optimisation.
- High ownership mindset, clear communication, and ability to work in a product-oriented startup

workplace.

Good to Have:

- Hands-on experience with Docker, AWS or similar cloud services, and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience with Redis, Celery, queues, caching, or asynchronous processing.
- Exposure to observability, monitoring, production troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Passion for sports and fitness.
- Excitement about working in a fast-paced startup environment.
