We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer to join our team and build scalable, high-performance backend systems for a logistics platform similar to Porter, Rapido, or Uber. The ideal candidate should be capable of designing robust APIs, optimizing system performance, and independently managing backend development for a high-traffic, real-time application.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

- Develop RESTful APIs for customer, partner, admin, booking, payment, and wallet modules.

- Design and optimize PostgreSQL/MySQL database schemas and queries.

- Integrate third-party APIs such as payment gateways, maps, notifications, and SMS services.

- Implement authentication and authorization using JWT.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.

- Work with Redis, caching mechanisms, and message queues where required.

- Collaborate with frontend, mobile, DevOps, QA, and product teams.

- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high system availability.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.





Required Skills

- Strong experience in Java 17/21.

- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate.

- Good knowledge of REST API development.

- Experience with PostgreSQL .

- Understanding of Redis, caching, and asynchronous processing.

- Knowledge of Microservices architecture.

- Experience with Git and version control.

- Familiarity with Docker and AWS is an added advantage.

- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design.

Preferred Experience

- 5 to 8 years of experience in Java backend development.

- Experience building logistics, ride-hailing, e-commerce, delivery, or on-demand service platforms is highly preferred.

- Experience with high-concurrency, real-time applications is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to take ownership and work independently.
