- 4–10+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE enterprise application development
- Strong proficiency in Spring (Core, MVC, Boot), REST API development and Oracle SQL / PL-SQL
- Experience working on large monolithic enterprise systems with complex workflows
- Exposure to AWS (PaaS / basic cloud deployments) and container-based deployments (Docker concepts)
- Understanding of API-led architecture and service-based decomposition
- Exposure to or willingness to learn Micronaut framework for new services
- Ability to work in an Agile & DevSecOps setting
- Strong debugging, performance tuning and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities*
- Develop and enhance Java monolith core applications + peripheral services
- Deliver bug fixes, enhancements and light releases aligned to sprint cycles
- Design and implement REST/SOAP APIs for integration across systems
- Work on PL/SQL queries, DB tuning and data fixes
- Contribute to Micronaut-based container-ready services development
- Participate in API-driven modularization of monolithic components
- Follow Secure SDLC including security controls and compliance standards
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA Analysts, onsite-offshore teams for delivery
