Scilab and related scripting environments.

- Clearly understand requirements and create scalable, reusable automation solutions aligned with standards.

- Perform code optimization and ensure performance efficiency of computational models.

- Break down complex engineering problems into modular solutions and provide effort estimations.

- Skills to develop new apps in Scilab using Web/HTML/JS

- Support capability building by mentoring and training junior engineers in Scilab and automation best practices.

Deliverables

:

- Develop Scilab-based automation tools/applications for engineering use cases

- Enhance and sustain existing automation tools and scripts

- Provide documentation, validation, and user support

- Conduct training sessions, create knowledge material,



and enable junior engineers to independently use and develop Scilab-based solutions

Core Responsibilities and Activities

:

- Develop and maintain Scilab scripts for engineering

,

simulations

,

and data processing

- Collaborate with engineering teams to define automation solutions

- Provide estimates and track tasks (JIRA)

- Perform testing, validation, and debugging

- Build and maintain Azure CI/CD pipelines, automated build/test/deploy workflows.

- Mentor junior engineers and guide them in Scilab development, debugging, and problem-solving approaches

- Conduct hands-on sessions / code reviews to upskill team members

Functional Competencies

- Robust expertise in Scilab scripting and modeling

- Knowledge of numerical methods and engineering workflows

- Familiarity with Git/version control

- Ability to train, coach, and transfer technical knowledge to junior engineers

- Basic exposure to Python/MATLAB (added advantage)
