Role & responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright.

- Create and execute UI, API, Regression, Smoke, and End-to-End test cases.

- Develop reusable and maintainable automation scripts using JavaScript or TypeScript.

- Automate REST APIs using Playwright or REST Assured.

- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

- Perform cross-browser testing across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit.

- Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to understand requirements.

- Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and support issue resolution.

- Maintain automation reports and improve test coverage.

Preferred candidate profile

- 5+ years of experience in Software Testing/Automation.

- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.

- Excellent knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript.

- Experience in UI and API Automation Testing.

- Valuable understanding of REST APIs and JSON.

- Experience with Git and version control.

- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

- Strong SQL knowledge for database validation.

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
