We are looking for a dynamic and technically strong Automation Manager to lead plant automation initiatives and act as a strategic interface between Production and the Plant Head. The role will focus on driving operational excellence throuh automation, process optimization, robotics integration, and smart manufacturing systems within a plastic manufacturing setup•

- Lead design, development,and commissioning of automation projects.
- Oversee an opportunity of automating an existing manual process focusing on cycle time reduction, manpower saving and process optimization.
- Design concept and cycle time study.
- Preparing ROI calculations, manpower and process study for new automation developments.
- Manage automation budgets,timelines, and vendor coordination
- Monitoring project budget and deadlines. Raising alarm / concern if there is variance.
- Identifying recent vendor /supplier for developing low cost automation projects.
- Preparing data bank for future projects.
- Manage a team of automation engineers and technicians.
- Work distribution as per skill and complexity of work
- Conflict management with other departments.
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and servo/motion control systems.
- Creating PLC & HMI program for new project.
- Training automation team PLC programming.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and process teams to optimize line performance.
- Reduction in breakdown maintenance time by practicing best practices.
- Plan PM schedule and reduce breakdown by effective PM.
- Making EOAT for new product and creating program.
- Oversee integration of robots, vision systems, and sensors into packaging equipment.




- Integration of robot with moulding machine and peripheral devices.
- Creating new program, following quick check SMED practices for set-up change.
- Automating manual operations by using vision systems, sensors and other equipment.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Practicing safety in work.
- Good quality work and following world class quality standards
- ISO, IMS, QMS, Internal audits, customer audits etc.
- Drive continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives (e.g., OEE, SCADA, MES).

Years of Experience :- 12+ Qualifications :- BTech Electrical/Mechatronics and similar qualification
