Automation & Instrumentation Engineer Location: Bahadurgarh, Haryana

Experience: 4–6 Years We are looking for an experienced Automation & Instrumentation Engineer to lead plant maintenance, automation, instrumentation, and technical reliability initiatives. The role will be responsible for ensuring plant equipment and automation systems operate safely, reliably, and efficiently, while driving preventive maintenance, breakdown reduction, process improvement, and compliance with food safety and EHS standards.

Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, install, test, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot automated control systems and industrial instrumentation.

- Lead the plant technical associate/SFE team for maintenance activities and ensure minimum equipment breakdowns during shift operations.
- Prepare, implement, and track the Preventive Maintenance Master Plan and maintenance schedules for plant equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance, plant uptime, breakdown trends, and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major breakdowns.
- Maintain departmental documentation including daily maintenance reports, maintenance logs, M&R; costs, spare-part records, breakdown analysis, RCA reports, and plant uptime reports.
- Plan and execute plant shutdown maintenance activities.
- Ensure implementation of safety procedures, work permits, LOTO, EHS, GMP, GHP, Food Safety, and JH standards.
- Support plant food-safety activities and ensure timely closure of audit and compliance findings.
- Coordinate with the Purchase team and Engineering Store to maintain optimum availability of critical spare parts.




- Track maintenance expenses and support preparation and monitoring of the maintenance budget.
- Represent the Maintenance department in daily operational meetings, monthly reviews, and leadership review meetings.
- Identify opportunities to improve machine reliability, process efficiency, productivity, and automation across plant operations.

Key Technical

Requirements • Excellent troubleshooting skills with a structured, analytical, and systematic approach.

- Strong knowledge of industrial instrumentation, automation, process-control systems, communication protocols, programming, and loop testing.
- Strong understanding of electrical symbols, SLDs, control circuits, and panel drawings.
- Hands-on experience in diagnosing system faults, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

Experience • 4–6 years of relevant experience in plant maintenance, automation, or instrumentation.

- Previous experience in FMCG, Food Processing, or Beverage Manufacturing companies is preferred.
