We are looking for a Senior Automation Software Developer to join our global Solutions team. In this role, you will help evolve and support Magnum, our automated underwriting tool used by over 80 clients worldwide. You will play a key role in designing, developing, testing, and enhancing the automation rules that power Magnum's performance and effectiveness. Magnum supports our clients digital transformation through advanced risk management and innovative technologies.
Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and deliver automation solutions tailored to client requirements
- Create clear and comprehensive specification documents
- Test and validate development outputs to ensure alignment with client expectations
- Independently lead implementation projects, managing scope and timelines
- Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor to junior colleagues
- Analyze client data to optimize solution performance
- Contribute to ongoing product development and feature enhancement
- Utilize robotic process automation tools (e.g., UiPath) to streamline workflows

Preferred Qualifications and Experience - 4 to 6 years of experience in software development or automation
- Background in IT, banking, financial services, or insurance
- Experience working on IT projects, particularly within the North American insurance market (preferred)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Proficiency in Java or JavaScript, or a similar programming language
- Experience with RPA tools like UiPath or equivalent
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with business analysis and process engineering tools
- A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and an eye for innovation
- Effective project and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with task tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps
- Logical and structured thinker with solid decision-making skills
