Role Description The Autodesk Inventor Designer role is a full time, on-site position based in Kochi. The designer will create and modify 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using Autodesk Inventor, ensuring designs meet functional, technical, and quality standards.

Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with engineering and project teams, interpreting design briefs and specifications, and developing parametric models, assemblies, and component libraries. The role also involves preparing manufacturing-ready documentation, performing basic design checks,



and updating drawings and models based on feedback or design changes. The designer will maintain organized project files, support cross-functional communication, and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and standards.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency with Autodesk Inventor for 3D modeling, assemblies, and detailed drafting, along with familiarity with other CAD tools as an advantage.
- Applied mechanical or product design skills, including understanding of tolerances, materials, manufacturing processes, and design-for-manufacture principles.
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications, and industry standards, with attention to dimensional accuracy and documentation quality.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, project management) and communicate design concepts clearly and professionally.
- Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot design issues and incorporate feedback into iterative design improvements.
- Good organizational skills, including version control, file management, and adherence to project timelines and priorities.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related technical field; Autodesk Inventor or CAD certification is a plus.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering services, or BIM-related workflows is an added advantage, especially for multi-disciplinary projects.
