Role Description The Asst Sales Managers role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The role involves supporting sales planning, managing existing client accounts, and assisting in developing new business within transportation and logistics services. Daily tasks include preparing quotations, coordinating with operations teams, following up with clients, tracking leads, and maintaining sales reports.

This role also requires close collaboration with senior sales leadership to meet revenue targets and enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Strong sales and business development abilities, including lead generation, client relationship management, and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of transportation, logistics, or freight services, with the ability to understand service offerings and pricing structures.
- Competence in basic business software tools (e.g., MS Office, spreadsheets, email), along with accurate documentation and reporting skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to engage professionally with clients and internal teams.
- Organizational and time management skills, including attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced workplace.
- Relevant academic background such as a diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
- Prior experience in sales or customer-facing roles, preferably in logistics or transportation, is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Mumbai and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
