About The Team

Purplle's Product Management team builds the technology products that power a comprehensive e-commerce platform. The team constantly ships new supply chain features that are scalable, reduce cost, and enhance customer experience. As a lean team, every individual is expected to make a significant, measurable impact on the business.

About The Role

We are looking for an Associate Product Manager who will own our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and internal supply chain tools as the core of the role, while also driving our ERP integration and our data platforms for reporting and data warehousing. You will work at the intersection of product, operations, and data, turning the needs of warehouse stakeholders into reliable, well-built features. This is an individual contributor role that works closely with the data engineering, backend engineering, and analytics teams, as well as operations and business stakeholders, to deliver the roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Management and Internal Tools

Own the product roadmap for the WMS and adjacent internal tools used by warehouse teams.

Translate operational problems into clear Product Requirement Documents, use cases, and acceptance criteria for engineering and QA.

Partner with backend engineering to design, build, and roll out new features, and drive adoption with operations teams.

Identify workflow gaps and inefficiencies on the ground, then define structured improvements that scale.

ERP Systems

Support the integration and data consistency between the WMS and the ERP for sales, inventory, and reconciliation flows.

Work with engineering and operations to debug system-level discrepancies and drive root causes to closure.

Help define and validate the impact of ERP-related product changes.

Data Platforms, Reporting, and Data Warehousing

Lead the reporting and data warehousing layer that gives stakeholders a single, reliable source of truth.

Coordinate with the data engineering team on ETL processes and pipelines that feed the warehouse.

Build and maintain dashboards and reports covering inventory positions, stock movements, reconciliation health, and system performance.

Use data analysis to surface insights and drive data-informed product decisions.

Must-Have Skills And Requirements

1+ years of experience in a product, analytics, or supply-chain technology role.

BE / B.Tech from a reputed institute. MBA is a plus but not mandatory.

Working knowledge of SQL and comfort querying datasets in a cloud warehouse such as BigQuery.

Solid data analysis fundamentals and the ability to understand discrepancies across systems.

Familiarity with ETL processes and pipelines and how data moves from source systems into a data warehouse.

Ability to write clear PRDs and use cases, and to think and work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Strong verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills across product, engineering, and business teams.

High ownership mindset with the ability to drive a problem from identification to resolution.

Good-to-Have Skills

Exposure to Warehouse Management Systems and ERP systems, and an understanding of how inventory and sales data flow between them.

Hands-on experience with BI or data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Metabase.

Experience with SAP or a similar enterprise ERP.

Exposure to inventory management, or quick-commerce and dark-store operations.

Familiarity with pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow.

What You Will Gain

End-to-end ownership of the WMS and internal tools that run day-to-day supply chain operations.

A role at the intersection of product, supply chain, and technology, with real influence on the roadmap.

Deep exposure to ERP integration and to building the data platform behind business-critical reporting.

A transparent growth path from Associate Product Manager toward a full Product Manager role.
