Associate Manager - IT Application Access Management

About the Team A fast-paced, high-ownership engineering team focused on building scalable backend systems that power Navis financial products. The team collaborates closely with cross-functional partners to solve complex problems through clean, effective, and maintainable code.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Application Access Management expert to join our team and play a crucial role in securing our cloud-based applications. You will be responsible for managing user access, entitlements, and life cycles across various platforms but not limited to such as G-Suite, Okta, Atlassian, Slack, AWS and potentially others. This role requires a strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM) principles and best practices.

Must Haves

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in IT Access Management, Application Security, or a similar role
- Strong understanding of cloud-based application security and access control principles
- Working knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and best practices
- Experience with cloud-based IAM platforms such as Okta, Azure AD, or similar tools (a plus)
- Experience with managing user access and entitlements in G-Suite, Atlassian, Slack, and other cloud applications (preferred)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Certifications (a plus):

- Okta Certified Administrator (OCA)
- Atlassian Access Administration Certification




- Google Workspace
- AWS

What We Expect From You User Provisioning & Access Management:

- Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts in various cloud applications based on business needs and access control policies
- Implement role-based access control (RBAC) to ensure users have the least privilege necessary to perform their jobs
- Manage user group memberships and access entitlements across different applications
- Automate user provisioning and access management workflows whenever possible

Application Security & Compliance:

- Configure and maintain secure access controls for cloud applications based on industry

standards and best practices
- Monitor user activity and identify potential access risks
- Stay up-to-date on evolving security threats and vulnerabilities in cloud applications
- Assist with compliance efforts related to data security and access control

Identity & Access Management (IAM) Tools:

- Manage and maintain configurations for IAM platforms such as Okta, Azure AD,GCP, AWS or similar tools (depending on your environment)
- Develop and implement workflows for user provisioning, access requests, and approvals
- Utilize reporting tools within IAM platforms to identify access trends and potential security issues

Collaboration & Communication:

- Work effectively with IT teams, application owners,



and business stakeholders to understand access needs and enforce access control policies
- Clearly communicate complex IAM concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Participate in meetings and presentations to discuss access management processes and security posture
