Job Title: Associate Director / Director - Finance

Location: Remote (ET Hours)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and leadership-driven Finance Professional to oversee financial operations, compliance, and reporting across our international entities. In this role, you will take full ownership of the end-to-end accounting lifecycle, regional budgeting, local compliance, and team management. The ideal candidate will blend rigorous technical expertise in financial reporting with strong people leadership skills to guide a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Management Insights

- Monthly Analysis: Drive monthly geographic-level profit and loss (P&L;), balance sheet, and cash flow statement reviews, delivering clear narrative commentary on variances.
- Balance Sheet Governance: Oversee the composition, reconciliation, and analytical review of monthly balance sheet schedules.
- Multi-Region MIS: Formulate consolidated and standalone P&L; statements (actuals + projections)



to prepare comprehensive Management Information Systems (MIS) reports for the Canada, UK, Mexico, and Spain.

Compliance & Statutory Reporting

- Local GAAP Financials: Lead the preparation of financial statements and mandatory disclosure notes for entities in Canada, UK, Mexico, and Spain in strict accordance with local GAAP.
- Tax & Transfer Pricing: Ensure flawless execution of annual statutory obligations, corporate tax filings, and global transfer pricing guidelines.
- Banking Compliance: Manage regional banking compliance frameworks and fulfill all recurring institutional reporting mandates.

Core Accounting & Financial Operations

- Full-Cycle Accounting: Own end-to-end regional accounting, including accruals, prepaid expenses, cut-off procedures, closing trial balances, and rigorous ledger scrutiny.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Orchestrate quarterly forecasting cycles, annual budget formulation, and granular general ledger (GL) budget-versus-actual analysis.
- Cross-Functional Support: Provide day-to-day operational financial support across the region and deliver regular data packages to the Corporate Development team.

Operational Workflows & Disbursements

- Spend Management: Maintain absolute accountability for the end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) and employee reimbursement lifecycles, ensuring thorough review, verification, and budget alignment.




- Process Optimization: Establish, monitor, and refine financial workflows to maximize efficiency across regional operations.

Team Leadership & Strategy

- Team Guidance: Take the lead in managing daily regional workflows, setting clear priorities, and organizing team deliverables.
- Talent Development: Drive employee performance through structured training, personal development plans, mentoring, and daily operational support.
- Executive Collaboration: Address ad-hoc projects, financial simulations, and strategic priorities as directed by executive management.

Required Software & Systems Expertise

- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP): Hands-on experience working within comprehensive cloud ERP systems such as SAP or QuickBook for international consolidation.
- SME Accounting Ecosystems: High proficiency in handling localization workflows using tools like QuickBooks Online for multi-entity tracking.
- Expense & Workflow Management: Familiarity with modern employee reimbursement platforms (e.g., Expensify, Zoho) and AP workflow tools.

Job Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional certification (CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive corporate finance experience, with proven success managing international entities and cross-border financial operations in a Consulting Company.
- Leadership: Minimum 5+ years of experience directly managing, training, and developing a finance or accounting team.
- Skills: Proficient in multi-currency consolidations, local GAAP frameworks, and advanced financial modeling.
