Role Description The Associate Agency Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City. This role focuses on recruiting, onboarding, and developing agency partners and advisors to drive life insurance sales and expand the distribution network.

Daily responsibilities include planning and executing sales activities, providing performance coaching and training to advisors, and monitoring achievement of sales and productivity targets. The role involves building strong relationships with agency teams, conducting regular field visits and joint calls, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and company compliance standards.

Manager will also analyze local market opportunities, support promotional campaigns, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance customer acquisition and retention.

Qualifications

- Experience in agency development, sales management, or distribution leadership, preferably in life insurance or financial services.
- Strong skills in relationship building, stakeholder management, and team coaching to support advisor performance and growth.
- Ability to plan and execute sales strategies, track targets, and use data and market insights to improve business outcomes.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to conduct training sessions and joint field calls.
- Good understanding of life insurance products, regulatory guidelines, and customer-centric sales practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, finance, or a related field; relevant professional certifications in insurance or sales are an advantage.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, MS Office applications, and digital platforms for reporting, monitoring, and customer engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven setting and maintain high ethical and compliance standards.
