Role Description The Assistant Professor in Architecture will be responsible for delivering lectures, studio sessions, and tutorials across undergraduate and postgraduate architecture programs in an on-site capacity at the Punjab, India campus. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing course materials, guiding students through design projects, supervising research work, and providing academic mentoring and advising. The role involves participating in curriculum development, contributing to departmental meetings, engaging in scholarly research and publications, and collaborating with colleagues on interdisciplinary initiatives.

Professor will also be expected to evaluate student performance, maintain academic records, and support accreditation and quality assurance activities. This is a full-time on-site role.

Qualifications

Robust foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to teach core theory and studio courses.

Skills in Landscape Architecture and Interior Design, supporting instruction in specialized electives and design studios.

Demonstrated Research skills, including the capacity to conduct and supervise academic and applied research in architecture and related fields.

Master’s degree in Architecture (M.Arch) or equivalent from a recognized institution; Ph.D. in Architecture or related discipline is preferred.

Prior teaching or studio mentoring experience in higher education or professional training settings.

Proficiency in architectural software and digital tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, BIM platforms, and visualization tools).

Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusive, learner-centered pedagogy.

Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and engage with industry, community, and professional bodies.

Eligibility and qualifications aligned with national regulatory norms for faculty appointments in architecture (e.g., COA/UGC guidelines).
