Assistant Manager - Safety / EHS

Pharma - Formulation Manufacturing Unit,

Silvassa (Unit - Piparia).

Preferred candidate profile

We are looking for an experienced Safety Assistant Manager to lead our Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) function and drive a robust safety culture within our Pharma (Manufacturing) operations.

Experience : 10+ years of relevant EHS experience in the Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing

Industry

Qualifications : Degree / Diploma in Engineering / Safety, B Sc / M Sc with Diploma in Safety.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop, Implement, and Monitor EHS Policies, Procedures, and Safety Standards.
2. Ensure Compliance with Statutory, Regulatory, and Corporate EHS Requirements.
3. Lead Safety Audits, Inspections, Risk Assessments, and Incident Investigations.
4.



Drive Corrective and Preventive Actions to enhance workplace safety.
5. Conduct Safety Training, Emergency preparedness programs, and Mock drills.
6. Foster a proactive Safety Culture across Manufacturing Operations.

Required Skills :

- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, statutory compliance, and safety management systems.
- Expertise in hazard identification, risk assessment, process safety, and incident management.
- Hands-on experience in Pharma - Formulations, Manufacturing Plants.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and managerial skills.
