Role Description The Art Therapist will provide part-time, on-site therapeutic services to clients at our Bengaluru location, using visual and expressive arts to support emotional, psychological, and social well-being. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting individual and group art therapy sessions, assessing client needs, and developing treatment plans that align with established clinical goals.
The role involves documenting sessions, maintaining accurate clinical records, and collaborating with other mental health professionals to ensure coordinated care.
The Art
Therapist will also contribute to program development, participate in case discussions,
and engage in ongoing professional reflection and supervision. The position requires adherence to ethical standards, sensitivity to cultural and individual differences, and clear communication with clients, families, and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess solid skills in Art Therapy and Expressive Arts to design and facilitate therapeutic activities.
- Candidates should possess knowledge and experience in Mental Health and Psychology to inform assessment, treatment planning, and client support.
- Candidates should possess competency in Clinical Supervision, including receiving and integrating supervisory feedback; experience providing supervision is an advantage.
- Relevant master’s degree in art therapy, counseling, psychology, or a related field, with appropriate professional certifications or licensing where applicable.
- Experience working with diverse populations in clinical or community settings, with sensitivity to cultural and individual differences.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, and the ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, ethical practice, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
