Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Article Trainee for Chartered Accountant role based in Delhi, India.

The Article

Trainee will support the finance team in day-to-day accounting activities, including bookkeeping, ledger posting, and preparation of basic financial statements. The role involves assisting with audits, compliance filings, tax working, and documentation for regulatory requirements. The trainee will help in financial analysis, budgeting support, and preparation of management reports for startups and SMEs.





Responsibilities also include working with financial tools, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with clients, and contributing to Virtual CFO and advisory engagements under the supervision of qualified professionals.

Qualifications

Enrolled in Chartered Accountancy (CA) course and eligible for articleship; solid academic background in accounting and finance.

Foundational knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, ledgers, financial statements, and basic taxation concepts.

Ability to work with MS Excel and other financial tools for data analysis, reconciliations, and report preparation.

Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and a structured approach to documentation and compliance.

Effective written and verbal communication skills and a professional client-facing demeanor.

Capacity to learn quickly, take initiative, and work collaboratively within a fast-paced startup-focused environment.

Interest in startup finance, Virtual CFO services, and technology-enabled financial automation is highly beneficial.

Prior internship or practical exposure in accounting, audit, or tax will be an added advantage but is not mandatory.
