Company Description LeadSoc Technologies Pvt Ltd provides cutting-edge engineering design services in VLSI and embedded systems to semiconductor, automotive, telecom, and consumer electronics clients. The company offers end-to-end VLSI design solutions, from microarchitecture to tape-out and post-silicon support, working on SoC, FPGA, and ASIC platforms.
LeadSoc maintains in-house labs with state-of-the-art EDA tools and an embedded software center of excellence, creating an environment where engineers can learn, experiment, and build reference solutions and proofs of concept. The software practice covers firmware, hardware abstraction, kernel and user space development on x86, ARM, MIPS, and PowerPC architectures, including board design, platform software, middleware, IoT, and cloud applications across AWS, GCP, and Azure. Teams are actively involved in diagnostics, pre- and post-silicon validation, performance optimization, and migration of legacy stacks to next-generation platforms.
Role Description As an ARM Cortex Design Verification Engineer, you will work as part of the VLSI design and verification team to ensure the functional correctness and robustness of ARM Cortex-based IP and SoC implementations. This full time, on-site role in Bengaluru South involves developing verification plans and testbenches, writing and executing test cases, and performing coverage analysis for ARM Cortex cores and subsystems.
You will collaborate closely with microarchitecture, RTL design,
and firmware teams to understand specifications, reproduce issues, and drive resolution. Daily responsibilities include debugging simulation failures, improving verification methodologies and automation scripts, documenting results, and contributing to continuous enhancements of the verification environment and flows.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of digital design fundamentals, microarchitecture concepts, and ARM Cortex architectures and instruction sets.
- Proficiency in hardware description and verification languages such as Verilog/SystemVerilog and experience with UVM or similar verification methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with simulation, functional coverage, assertion-based verification, and use of industry-standard EDA tools for design verification.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, create verification plans, and systematically design test cases for complex IP and SoC blocks.
- Solid debugging skills for RTL and testbench issues, including waveform analysis, log review, and root-cause identification.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, or Shell) to automate verification tasks, regressions, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with FPGA/ASIC flows, integration of processor cores, and concepts related to low-power, performance, and reliability verification.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Effective communication
