Senior Developer

Location : Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

Department : Global Technology Services (or relevant department).

Reports To : Head of Cluster Wide Applications.

Purpose of the Role :

The purpose of this role is to design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, .NET Core and Angular technologies, ensuring they meet business requirements and deliver high performance, reliability, and scalability. The role also involves managing deployments, troubleshooting issues, and providing user support.

Key Responsibilities :

Requirements Analysis and Technical Design :

- Analyze user stories and business requirements to produce detailed technical specifications.
- Communicate effectively with business users and technical teams to ensure requirements are met and expectations managed.

Application Development and Lifecycle Management :

- Design, develop, and maintain applications across their full lifecycle using .NET technologies (C#, .NET Core, EF Core, SQL Server, LINQ) and ANGULAR (Mandatory).
- Manage deployment of developed (CI/CD) solutions to various environments (development, test, staging, production), ensuring smooth and reliable releases.
- Continuously maintain, troubleshoot, and improve application performance, reliability, and scalability throughout the lifecycle.

Quality Assurance and Incident Management :





- Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices in version control and source management (e.g., Git).
- Investigate, resolve, and document application incidents, including bug fixing and performance issues.

Documentation and User Support :

- Prepare comprehensive end-user documentation and user manuals for developed applications.
- Provide support to application users by resolving doubts, offering guidance, and ensuring optimal usage experience.

Problem-Solving and Continuous Improvement :

- Apply strong problem-solving skills to deliver timely solutions to technical and operational challenges.

On-Call Support :

- Be available for on-duty call as required to address urgent issues.

Required Technical Competencies :

- Git (Mandatory).
- C#, .Net Core (Mandatory), Entity framework Core (EF Core) - Mandatory, LINQ.
- Angular (Mandatory).
- Azure DevOps (Valuable to have), Azure Services.
- Visual Studio.

Experience :

Minimum of 6 years of experience in roles related to :

- Database : SQL Server, Oracle (Any 1 Mandatory).
- APIs : Interaction with REST APIs.
- Programming : C# .NET Core 6.0 above (Mandatory), Entity framework Core (EF Core) - Mandatory, LINQ, Angular 13 & above (Mandatory), .NET framework & Desktop applications, Azure DevOps, Azure services.
- Continuous Integration (CI/CD).
