- Required Technical Skill Set : Postman, SOAP UI, Swagger, REST Assured, Karate, JMeter (for API performance)





Preferred Skill sets.

- Design, develop, and execute test cases for REST/SOAP APIs.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools like:
- Postman, SOAP UI, Swagger, REST Assured, Karate, JMeter (for API performance)
- Validate REST/SOAP API responses using Assertions for payloads, status codes, headers, and schema structures.
- Build and manage Postman/API collections to support automated and manual test workflows.
- Positive knowledge of JSON, XML, XPath, XSD, and schemas.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing of APIs.
- Knowledge of SQL and ability to validate backend data.
- Create and maintain API automation scripts using industrystandard tools.
- Work closely with developers, BAs, and DevOps teams to understand requirements and ensure quality delivery.
