We are looking for a Mobile Software Development Engineer III to join our Mobile engineering team. You will be responsible for building robust, scalable, and user-centric Android applications that power key customer journeys. As a senior individual contributor, you will work closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver seamless mobile experiences, while also mentoring junior engineers and influencing mobile architecture decisions.

About the Role

Mobile Engineering Excellence

- Own the end-to-end development of critical Android features using Kotlin.

- Contribute to mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, Redux).

- Ensure modular, testable, and maintainable codebases aligned with platform guidelines.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring.

- Drive app performance improvements, including load times, responsiveness, and crash-free sessions.

Collaboration & Delivery

- Partner with backend, product, and design teams to scope, plan, and deliver high-quality features.

- Participate actively in sprint ceremonies, system design discussions, and release planning.

- Collaborate on observability, analytics, and A/B testing integrations to improve decision-making.

Mentorship & Best Practices





- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions.

- Advocate for engineering excellence by promoting code reviews, automation, and best practices.

Responsibilities

- 4–6 years of qualified Android development experience.

- Strong expertise in Kotlin and Android, and iOS.

- Experience with offline-first app design, caching, and synchronization.

- Familiarity with Firebase (Crashlytics, Analytics), CI/CD, and monitoring tools.

- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

- Experience working in cross-functional teams in agile environments.

Qualifications

- 4–6 years of professional Android development experience.

- Strong expertise in Kotlin and Android, and iOS.

- Experience with offline-first app design, caching, and synchronization.

- Familiarity with Firebase (Crashlytics, Analytics), CI/CD, and monitoring tools.

- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

- Experience working in cross-functional teams in agile environments.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in fintech, ride-hailing, or other transactional platforms.

- Knowledge of accessibility standards and multi-lingual app support.
