Kanerika's accelerators and IP are increasingly sold as transactable products through cloud marketplaces rather than services alone.
The Alliance Operations
Specialist owns the commercial-operations mechanics that make this work — license selling, OEM license administration, and marketplace transaction management. This role turns Kanerika's accelerator and IP portfolio into cleanly listed, transactable, reconciled marketplace revenue. It keeps the licensing and marketplace side of the alliance engine running without ad hoc intervention from the Operations Manager.
Requirements
- Every active Kanerika accelerator and IP tier eligible for marketplace sale is set up as a transactable listing on Azure Marketplace, with private offers and metering configured correctly.
- License and marketplace revenue reconciled against commercial records on a defined cadence, with discrepancies caught and resolved before they compound.
- OEM license administration running as a documented, repeatable process rather than a one-off task handled ad hoc.
- A clean, audit-ready trail of licensing and marketplace transaction documentation, with no gaps flagged in the first compliance review.
Core Responsibilities
1. License & OEM Administration
- Administer license selling and OEM license management for Kanerika's accelerator and IP tiers, keeping entitlements, tiers, and records accurate and current.
- Maintain the master license record across products, customers, and legal entities,
and resolve discrepancies before they become compliance exposure.
- Act as the internal point of contact on license structure and OEM commercial terms for alliance leads and delivery teams.
2. Marketplace Listings & Transactions
- Set up and maintain transactable listings on Azure Marketplace, and extend the same discipline to additional platform marketplaces as they come online.
- Operate the marketplace co-sell mechanics end to end — private offers, metering, and transaction tracking — for every active listing.
- Coordinate with alliance leads and the Operations Manager to keep current and updated listings aligned with co-sell priorities and platform requirements.
3. Revenue Reconciliation & Commercial Records
- Reconcile marketplace and license revenue against internal commercial records on a regular, defined cadence.
- Maintain clean, auditable documentation for every marketplace and OEM commercial transaction.
- Surface revenue or reconciliation anomalies early and work with Finance and Operations to close them out.
4. Compliance & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Maintain compliance and documentation standards for all marketplace and OEM commercial activity in line with platform requirements.
- Support audits and reviews with organized, readily available transaction and licensing evidence.
- Partner with the Alliance Operations Manager and alliance leads to keep licensing and marketplace activity aligned with the broader partner strategy
