PERIDOT Advanced Materials

Bengaluru

Company Description Peridot Advanced Materials (PAM), formerly Parallax Composites Inc., is a leading Indian manufacturer of high-performance composite materials, including carbon fibre, glass fibre, aramid, and advanced hybrid composites. The company operates a dedicated composite manufacturing facility that supports critical applications in UAVs, aircraft, defence, and electric vehicles where lightweight strength, precision, and durability are essential. PAM is the first Indian company to produce carbon fiber propellers for UAVs, supporting the ‘Make in India’ vision through indigenous innovation.

Its facility features advanced capabilities such as cold storage for prepregs, 3D laser scanning, CMM inspection, multi-axis CNC machining, in-house testing, and aerospace compliance support. Quality systems are aligned with AS9100, DRDO, and HAL standards, enabling PAM to deliver aerospace-grade components designed to perform in extreme conditions.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Aircraft Design Engineer role based in Bengaluru.

The Aircraft Design

Engineer will contribute to the design and development of aircraft structures and components using advanced composite materials, working closely with multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, and product engineering. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing detailed CAD models and drawings, performing design calculations, supporting structural and material selection, and ensuring designs meet performance,

safety, and regulatory requirements. The role involves collaborating with manufacturing and quality teams to translate designs into producible components, supporting prototyping, testing, and design validation.

The Aircraft Design

Engineer will also participate in design reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and efficiency.
