Role Description The Intern role at IIITH is a full-time, hybrid position based in Hyderabad, with some flexibility for work from home depending on project needs. Interns will support faculty, researchers, or project leads through tasks such as data collection, literature review, documentation, and preparation of reports or presentations. Daily activities may include assisting in experiment design or implementation, contributing to prototypes or tools, organizing project resources,



and helping maintain research or project documentation.

Interns will collaborate with mentors and team members, attend relevant meetings or seminars, and participate in periodic reviews of project progress. The role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to academic research and technology development, while building professional skills in a structured, learning-focused environment. Qualifications

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with capacity to learn current concepts and tools quickly.

Basic familiarity with research workflows (e.g., literature surveys, data organization, documentation), or willingness to learn under guidance.

Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with faculty, researchers, and peers.

Ability to work both independently and in teams, manage time well, and meet agreed timelines in a full-time hybrid setup.

Enrollment in or completion of a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate program (such as Computer Science, Engineering, Sciences, or related fields) is preferred.

Comfort with using common productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., office suites, online communication platforms, version control or shared document tools) is an advantage.

Demonstrated interest in research, technology development, or academic projects through coursework, personal projects, or prior internships is beneficial.
