AI Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Generative AI Engineer to design, develop, and integrate AI-powered solutions into our EdTech and School ERP platform. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, RAG, AI APIs, chatbots, and AI-driven automation. The candidate will work closely with the Product, Business Analyst, Development, and QA teams to convert business requirements into practical and scalable Generative AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop Generative AI-based applications and features.
- Integrate LLMs such as OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or other models into applications.
- Develop and optimize prompts and AI workflows.
- Build AI chatbots and virtual assistants for students, parents, teachers, and school administrators.
- Design and implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) solutions.
- Work with embeddings and vector databases for intelligent search and knowledge retrieval.
- Integrate AI solutions with existing School ERP, APIs, databases, and web/mobile applications.
- Develop AI-powered automation for repetitive business processes.
- Work with structured and unstructured data for AI applications.
- Evaluate AI responses for accuracy, relevance, consistency, and performance.
- Implement mechanisms to reduce hallucinations and improve AI response quality.
- Develop AI-powered document processing, summarization, classification, and information extraction

solutions.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product teams to understand requirements and identify AI use cases.
- Conduct research and stay updated with the latest developments in Generative AI, LLMs, and AI Agents.
- Monitor and optimize AI application performance, scalability, and cost.
- Ensure appropriate data security, privacy, and responsible use of AI.

Required Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of Generative AI and LLM concepts.




- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Valuable knowledge of Prompt Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with RAG architecture.
- Knowledge of embeddings and vector databases such as FAISS, Pinecone, Chroma, or similar.
- Experience with REST APIs and third-party API integration.
- Good understanding of SQL and databases.
- Knowledge of Git/version control systems.
- Understanding of AI model evaluation and optimization.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.
- Experience in developing AI Agents and Agentic AI workflows.
- Experience with OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or open-source LLMs.
- Experience with AI chatbot development.
- Knowledge of OCR and intelligent document processing.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning and NLP concepts.
- Experience working with SaaS, ERP, EdTech, or enterprise applications will be an advantage.

- AI-powered analytics and recommendations.

Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in AI/ML/Generative AI will be an advantage.

Experience 2-5 years of relevant experience in Generative AI, AI/ML, NLP, or LLM application development.
