Publicis Sapient is looking for an AEM Manager to lead the design and delivery of Adobe Experience Manager solutions for enterprise digital platforms.

You will translate business goals into scalable AEM architectures, guide engineering teams across the delivery lifecycle and help clients modernise content, experience and commerce ecosystems.

This role combines hands-on AEM expertise, architecture governance and stakeholder leadership to deliver secure, performant and future-ready digital experience platforms.

Your Impact

- Drive end-to-end AEM solution design, planning and implementation across multi-workstream programmes to deliver scalable digital experience platforms.
- Translate business requirements, product goals and BRDs into AEM solution architecture, functional specifications, user stories, workflows and technical designs.
- Lead architecture decisions across AEM Sites, Assets, Forms, Headless CMS, Edge Delivery Services, Universal Editor and composable delivery models.
- Establish engineering standards, implementation processes, quality gates and code review practices to improve delivery consistency across development, QA, DevOps and content teams.
- Guide AEM as a Cloud Service implementation using Cloud Manager, CI/CD, automated quality gates and cloud-native deployment practices.
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to communicate architecture options, implementation approaches and recommendations with clear business outcomes.
- Troubleshoot complex platform, integration, performance, caching and deployment issues while driving continuous improvement across AEM programmes.

Your Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of overall technology experience with strong leadership experience in Adobe Experience Manager delivery and architecture.




- Deep hands-on knowledge of Java 8/11, Sling, JCR, CRX, OSGi, HTL, REST/GraphQL APIs, AEM Core Components and enterprise AEM engineering practices.
- Experience designing scalable content architecture including content models, editable templates, reusable components, Experience Fragments, Content Fragments, taxonomy, localisation and governance.
- Robust understanding of AEM as a Cloud Service, Cloud Manager, AEM SDK, CI/CD pipelines, Maven, Git, Jenkins/Bamboo, SonarQube and automated testing practices.
- Experience integrating AEM with Adobe Experience Cloud and enterprise platforms such as AEP, Assets, Journey Optimizer/Campaign, Workfront, Adobe I/O, Analytics, Target, Commerce, PIM, CRM, Identity and cloud services.
- Ability to drive non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, caching, CDN optimisation, security, OWASP, OAuth/OpenID Connect, WCAG accessibility, SEO, GEO and operational excellence.
- Strong stakeholder management, planning, estimation and technical governance experience across cross-functional Agile delivery teams.

- Experience with Edge Delivery Services, Universal Editor, document-based authoring, headless and hybrid AEM architectures.
- Ability to apply Generative AI, Adobe AI capabilities and agentic workflows to accelerate development, migration, testing, documentation, SEO/GEO, accessibility validation and productivity.
- Experience leading teams of 20+ people across frontend, backend, QA, DevOps and project management tracks.
- Strong background in Adobe Marketing Cloud solutions including AEM, Search, Analytics, Target, Campaign, Launch and related MarTech capabilities.
- Ability to present solution architecture, MarTech case studies and delivery approaches to senior business and technology stakeholders.
