Role Description The Admission Counselor is a full-time, in office role based in Gurugram. This role involves guiding prospective students through the admission process, from initial inquiry to enrollment, while clearly explaining Ostello’s programs, live learning features, and outcomes.

The counselor responds to calls, messages, and inquiries, conducts detailed consultations to understand student goals, and recommends suitable courses and learning paths. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate records in the CRM, following up with leads,



coordinating with educators and internal teams, and contributing to admission campaigns and outreach initiatives.

The Admission

Counselor also gathers feedback from students and parents to improve the admission experience and supports a welcoming, learner-centric environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to interact effectively with students, families, and educators.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to provide a supportive, responsive, and solution-oriented admission experience.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to convert inquiries into enrollments through consultative conversations and ethical persuasion.
- Candidates should possess Education-related understanding or experience, enabling them to explain learning paths, curriculum structures, and student outcomes clearly.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include proficiency with CRM or admission management tools, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong organizational and time-management skills.
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline, prior experience in counseling, admissions, or EdTech, and fluency in English and Hindi will be considered an advantage.
