Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Admission Counselor role based in Lucknow.

The Admission

Counselor will guide prospective students and families through the college and course selection process, providing clear information on programs, eligibility, fees, and admission procedures.

Responsibilities include handling inbound inquiries, conducting counseling sessions in person and over phone or video, and maintaining accurate records of interactions and follow-ups. The role involves collaborating with internal teams to stay updated on educational offerings, exams, and scholarships, and supporting outreach activities to increase awareness of the platform.

Counselor is expected to meet counseling and conversion goals while maintaining a student-centric, ethical approach.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and professionals.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to provide supportive, explicit, and timely guidance throughout the admission journey.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to convert inquiries into enrollments while maintaining a consultative, needs-based counseling style.
- Candidates should possess Education-related knowledge or experience, such as understanding college admission processes, exams, and Indian higher education systems.
- Candidates should have good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple inquiries and follow-ups efficiently.
- Candidates should be comfortable using basic computer applications, CRM tools, and online communication platforms.
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline is preferred; prior experience in counseling, education consulting, or admissions is an advantage.
