Role Description The Admission Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. The counselor will guide students and parents through course and college selection, explain admission processes, and provide information about various programs offered in India and abroad.

Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, handling inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins, maintaining accurate student records, and supporting students with documentation and application submissions. The role also involves coordinating with educational institutions,



participating in seminars or outreach events, and following up with prospective students to ensure smooth admission journeys.

Counselor is expected to work closely with the team to meet admission targets while maintaining a student-centric, ethical approach.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Interpersonal Communication and Communication skills to counsel students and interact with parents and institutional partners.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to manage inquiries, provide prompt support, and ensure a positive experience throughout the admission process.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to effectively present programs, convert leads into admissions, and work towards enrollment targets in an ethical manner.
- Candidates should possess Education-related knowledge, including familiarity with major entrance exams, Indian and international education systems, and common undergraduate and postgraduate pathways.
- Relevant experience in counseling, education consulting, or academic admissions is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; degrees in Education, Psychology, or Management are an advantage.
- Proficiency in English and local/regional languages, with basic computer skills (MS Office, online forms, CRM tools).
- Ability to work on-site in the Pune Division, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and maintain a detail-oriented, student-first approach.
